9 Men Line Up To Dance

When the members of the amazing fleet-footed group Riverdance join together on stage for this performance, no one in the audience could’ve imagined their routine could be so stunning! Thankfully someone thought to capture the performance on video and share it with the world!

This is something that everyone should see at least once in their lives. The Riverdance group first began in April 1994 when the Irish dancing champions Jean Butler and Michael Flatley joined together to create an unstoppable dance troupe that would tour the globe.

Since its start, the Riverdance style has been recreated all over the world with a smaller number of dancers and different routines. Despite each troupe’s unique style, most of the Riverdance break offs still hold the name of famous Irish rivers like the Liffey, Lee, Lagan, Avoca, Shannon, Boyne, Corrib, Foyle, Moy and Bann.

This naming tradition helps keep the spirit of Irish dancing alive and honors the place where it all began. So when these talented men and women stepped on the stage and started their routine with the help of Celtic Spirit, the crowd went nuts.

The dancers high-stepped, tapped and twirled their way around the stage and the set changed along with the music. This routine was breathtaking right from the very start and it’s clear they spent quite a bit of time preparing for it.

At first, just the male dancers flip-flap on stage. But then the female dancers appear and join them.

Staring at their feet, it’s astounding how quickly they can clog. The music just seems to lead them through the choreography. Drums eventually are incorporated into the routine, too!

Each dance move was flawless, as was their music! We hope the traditional Irish dancing is something that sticks around for centuries to come!

At one point, a male dancer comes out and performs a solo. He’s eventually joined by a female for their duet.

The rest of the troupe gradually filters back onto the stage as they wrap up their incredible routine. They are blessed with such talent!
