A 90-year-old tortoise named Mrs. T was quietly hibernating this past winter when she was viciously attacked by a rat who broke into her hutch. Her owner, Jude Ryder was horrified when she discovered her injured pet and rushed the tortoise to the vet. Unfortunately, nothing could be done to save Mrs. T’s front legs, the U.K.’s Telegraph reported.
