Sloths are one of the most adorable creatures on the planet. They look drowsy nearly all the time – probably due to the fact that they sleep almost for 20 hours every day. Even when they are awake, they seldom move. Algae grow on their fur since they are so inactive.
In this clip, we get to meet some precious baby sloths having a “conversation” with one another. The adorable sloths look like they are really enjoying their little chat, but we cannot discern what they are talking about. The video was recorded at the Sloth Sanctuary in Costa Rica.
The Sloth Sanctuary has been operating as a rescue center officially from 1997. They advocate for the conservation of the sloth’s natural habitat, which is the Costa Rican rainforest; and they also research, rescue, rehabilitate, and release sloths back into the wild.
This video is definitely worth watching and then watching it over and over. It will take just a few minutes and you won’t regret the time spent on it.
