Deer Drops By Gift Shop, Surprises Shopkeeper When She Comes Back Later With Her Entire Family

A tiny gift shop got some unexpected holiday shoppers when a family of deer came by to check out the wares.

Lori Jones, who works at Horsetooth Inn and RV Park located in Stout, Colorado, snapped some delightful photos of a wild doe browsing through the shop’s aisles. But it’s what happened a short time later that had Lori laughing.

The deer appeared at the gift shop’s doorway, took a peek inside and then decided to come in.

She checked out the sunglasses rack. And then the potato chips. She even said “hello” to one of the customers.

Lori decided to coax the deer back outside, after her brief look around. “I lured her outside with a peanut bar,” Lori told 9NEWS.
