When members of the U.S. Acro Elite acro army march out onto the mat, the audience has no idea what treat is in store for them. In this performance held at the USA Gymnastics championships held in Greensboro, North Carolina, dozens of talented gymnasts wearing colorful costumes begin executing moves to a hip hop mix. They start showing off their incredible acro abilities with amazing stunts and partner work.
Several times, the girls are balanced precariously on their partners’ hands using only their own hands for support. Then, the female gymnasts bend over backwards in half as if they don’t even have a spine! It’s insane how their toes come quite close to touching their own ears!
