Justin Bieber has 95 million followers on Instagram. His sphere of influence is much larger than most.
With his giant following, there is bound to be great diversity regarding the religious beliefs of his followers. That hasn’t stopped Bieber from proclaiming the name of Jesus.
On Dec. 14, he posted a photo of a whiteboard with the handwritten message about Jesus on it. The message began by asking questions to which many followers could likely relate.
“Do you feel you have exhausted all options? Do you feel helpless?”
It continued, “Do you feel like you are never good enough?” The answer to these questions was not a vague spiritual one.
Bieber made it clear that “#Jesus” is the answer. He wrote, “What if I told you that there’s a God that’s willing to meet you WHEREVER you’re at!”
Thanks to the media and tabloids, we know that Bieber was not immune from needing God to meet him in the midst of trials and darkness.
Many of his worst moments, including bad breakups and being arrested, were highlighted for the world to examine.
In 2014, Bieber cried out to God on his knees. He realized his deep need for Jesus, which led him to seek baptism.
