It’s not every day that we see a mama moose giving birth. It is rare enough to see a wild animal giving birth, but to witness a wild animal giving birth to a twin is something else.
So when Victoria Hickey and Sarah Lochner from Eastside Anchorage saw a mama moose named Alaska ready to give birth in their yard, they immediately took out their camera. But what they captured next stunned millions!
As soon as Alaska gave birth, she started to groom her little baby. This tiny guy was trying to take few wobbly steps when mama went on to give another of her adorable babies.
Obviously Victoria and Sarah were shocked and couldn’t help but squeal to see the next tiny moose making his way out to the world.
