English Conversationalist and founder of the Aspinall Foundation, Damian Aspinall, as some may be aware, is known for raising and freeing gorillas bred in zoos in Gabon. However, in 2017 when Damian introduced his wife, Victoria Fisher, to two wild males gorillas from Howletts Wild Animal Park in Kent, the gone-viral video caught some interesting footage!
Meeting up with not just one but two wild gorillas may seem dangerous or even insane, but the interactions between the woman and the animal were nothing but positive. In the video, the gorillas, Djalta and Ima, seem a bit hesitant when meeting Victoria for the first time. In their heads, they’re probably thinking, “Can we trust her?”
Eventually, one of the gorillas gets closer and lets Victoria pet him. It looks like she’s been officially accepted!
