So when this mare featured in the video below got pregnant with twin foals in 2014, the students at the College of Veterinary Medicine at Oregon State University had a rare opportunity that they might never get to see in their life.
Dr. Josh Schipf, who has been involved in this field of work for 30 years, says that it is only the second set of live twins he has ever seen in his entire career.
These lucky twin foals were named Mocha and Cappuccino.
