Puffer Fish releasing water!

The appearance of this fish is very unusual. The whole body of the puffer is covered with short, but very strong and sharp thorns, the largest number of which is located on the lower part of the body (hence the name “puffer”).

The mouth of the fish is more like the beak of a bird, as the bones of the jaws have grown together in the course of evolution. With this” beak ” fish hunts and defends their interests in battles with relatives or other fish. The length of the body of pups on average is 80 centimeters, the largest specimens grow to 1 meter. Maximum body weight is 15 kilograms.
