Puppy With Special Needs Struggles To Eat, Then Owners Come Up With A Plan

German Shepherds are one of the most loved dogs, and that’s what we’re bringing you today! The German Shepherd puppy in the video down below — sadly, I don’t know his name — was rescued by his owners at ten weeks old. However, right away they found a problem with this puppy. He couldn’t keep his food down.

Two days later, when the owners concluded that nothing would change, the little pup was diagnosed with congenital megaesophagus. According to Wag Walking, congenital megaesophagus is, “A condition that occurs in dogs at birth where the esophagus is lacking in muscle, leading to the dog regurgitating his food.” Basically, anything he ate, he threw up, and therefore was too thin.
