This is the perfect combination. Not only does it allow you to make the candy at home – but in the end, it will be the biggest peanut butter cup you have ever seen! It’s time to put on your apron, and let’s get baking (well, “non-baking” actually).
The video for how to create a Giant Peanut Butter Cup is brought to us by My Cupcake Addiction. In the beginning, the host Elise delivers an adorable intro – saying, “It’s not so giant that you couldn’t eat it all by yourself…but it’s probably so giant that you shouldn’t eat it all by yourself. I’m not going to judge either way!”
Here is a list of ingredients you’ll need: 21 oz powdered sugar (sifted), 21 oz smooth peanut butter, 3.5 oz softened salted butter, 26 oz melted milk chocolate (she notes that it should be compound chocolate, and not list cocoa butter as an ingredient). As for the supplies, she used: 9″ tart pan (with removable base), baking paper, spatula, spoon, and a ruler.
Elise then goes on to teach us step by step how to make an over-sized peanut butter cup. It really looks SO simple to make, and turns out looking absolutely amazing. Be sure to watch the video to learn how to make one. It will undoubtedly help you score points with all of the chocolate and peanut butter lovers in your life!
