Some of you may have had the chance to witness live births thanks to your pet at home. To those of you who haven’t had that opportunity yet, you can always look it up on the internet. The video below shows a pregnant hedgehog giving birth. It is one of the most beautiful birth clips we will ever get to witness.
In 2013, Elaine Wong shared a clip of her hedgehog, Coco, giving birth on YouTube. She didn’t know that the six month old animal was pregnant when she brought her home. It was only after she delivered her first baby that Elaine realized Coco was in labor. She gave birth to four little babies. Elaine says that the babies’ quills popped out and hardened in just a few hours.
