One person who definitely has a God-given skill is Father Ray Kelly. Before going viral due to his stunning singing voice, Father Kelly spent his days as the priest of St. Brigid’s and St. Mary’s parish at Oldcastle, County Meath, Ireland.
Almost every waking second of his life was spent thinking about God and how His word heals all. But in the slivers of free time, Father Kelly loved to sing.
Occasionally, he would share that passion by singing with friends and loved ones. He had no idea those little gigs would lead him to the Britain’s Got Talent stage.
Instead of hiding his singing voice from the world, he decided to share it with millions of people watching at home. With the lyrics to “Everybody Hurts” by REM memorized, the microphone in his hand and his courage summoned, Father Kelly started his audition.
