Despite what the Democrats and mainstream media would lead you to believe, the GOP has attempted to pass legislation that would keep families together at the border, but Democrats in the House have not allowed the bill to pass.
The bill keeps the families together but still keeps them in custody. Apparently, the Democrats don’t care about the separation of families as long as illegal immigrants get to cross the border.
“The answer to separating families is not to put them behind bars,” said a Democratic staffer to CNN.
On Monday, Trump went on Twitter to call the Democrats out on their hypocritical policies.
“Why don’t the Democrats give us the votes to fix the world’s worst immigration laws? Where is the outcry for the killings and crime being caused by gangs and thugs, including MS-13, coming into our country illegally?” wrote Trump.
“The Democrats should get together with their Republican counterparts and work something out on Border Security & Safety. Don’t wait until after the election because you are going to lose!” he continued.
