Man looked out his window, only to find a creature freezing almost to death.
One yellow Labrador Retriever had actually fell into the fully-iced up Indian river located in New York a few years back. It was there that he got physically stuck fast, and the ice floor beneath him suddenly crumbled and broke, and he fell in. The frightened dog let out a series of desperate cries, and they reached the ears of a male passerby, who quickly phoned the Theresa Fire Department for help. Sturdy equipment was needed to pull the shivering dog out of the freezing stream, and back to solid ground where he belonged. The team of rescuers called out to the dog, encouraging him to ‘hang in there’ while they proceeded carefully.
