At the end of 2014, Merrill pit bull and Chihuahua Tacos were sent by their owners to a shelter in San Francisco. Three-year-old Merrill suffered from severe uterine infection, in the shelter she had to go through a painful and expensive treatment.
Rather, it surrendered to the shelter because they could no longer be used for breeding dogs, and spending money on treatment is not wanted. All the time, until she recovered from the disease, she did not depart Chihuahua. Despite the fact that the dogs are of different sexes, and Merrill several times more than Tacos, they have formed such a strong friendship, what ever the shelter staff have not seen.
