When this woman laid down on the couch, she told her dog she wasn’t feeling very well. The way her pup responded left everyone here at SFG speechless.
We here at SFG see a ton of talented pets on a daily basis, but it’s fairly rare to see a pit bull performing these impressive feats. Full of curiosity, we had to do a little more research on this popular dog breed.
First thing we learned is that: ” ‘Pit bull’ is NOT a breed. It’s a generic term often used to describe all dogs with similar traits and characteristics known to the public as ‘pit bulls.’ ” Also, did you know that these pups “have physical and mental characteristics that make them excellent partners for responsible, active and caring owners.” This is according to PBRC.net.
They continued to explain that pit bulls “can, however, be challenging for people who don’t have a lot of experience with dog ownership or have limited understanding of the breed. Luckily, pit bulls are intelligent, very responsive to training, and, above all, eager to please.”
So, if you do wind up owning one of these majestic pups, you should heavily consider throwing them into an obedience course as soon as possible. The earlier you establish good habits with your dog, the better off you’ll be in the future.
