Found in the desolate streets of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, these stray dogs could not stop hugging each other. They were understandably confused, being lost in the big city. They had nobody to turn to for comfort, until they found each other!
It is a mystery how things like this can bring warmth and ache to the heart at the same time. But that is exactly what it does. These pictures of these adorable puppies are sweeping the internet and getting everyone’s attention.
The terrified little dogs were apparently ignored and dejected until they were found by some Buddhist nuns. The nuns were similar to the story of the Good Samaritan. They took the strays in to their temple to give them a place of warmth and comfort and nourishment.
The bigger dog protected his little buddy by holding her closely. It is so cute to see these caring little animals take care of their own.
There is no way for us to know all that they saw and experienced before help came. But we are so glad that they at least had each other.
As the days went by, the dogs began to trust again. They realized they were in a place of healing and care. Slowly, they began to gain confidence in their new home.
Eventually they became relaxed and confident. Just knowing that they were in safe hands has made all the difference.
The comfort they now live in and around is apparent. Just look at how chill they are compared to the first sighting!
Just like children, it makes all the difference in the world knowing that they are loved and protected and cared for.
We are so thankful someone stepped up to the plate to care for these little guys! They deserve a life of love and care!
