After a strong wind storm, Jeff Baird and his Jeep club stumbled upon this cute, little critter who had found himself in quite the precarious position.
The only explanation is that the tree had fallen during the storm, trapping the bottom half of the raccoon’s body between the tree and ground.
The disturbed ground around the raccoon suggests he’d tried and struggled to wiggle himself free, fatiguing himself in the process.
