We all love the video for Taylor Swift’s hit song “Shake It Off.” Taylor’s funky costume changes, hilarious facial expressions, and awkward dance scenes certainly make this one-of-a-kind music video unique!
The residents of the Julia Wallace Retirement Village were so fond of Taylor’s “Shake If Off” in fact, that they decided to recreate the entire music video, scene for scene. The spot-on outfits, the high-level energy, and the perfect amount of pizzazz – oh my!
The final product is truly hilarious! Starting out the same way Taylor did, the video opens with a woman popping her head up from a group of stretching ballerinas, only to break out in song…
The elderly woman playing Taylor in the video lip syncs to Taylor’s voice, “I stay out too late. Got nothing in my brain. That’s what people say, mmm mmm. That’s what people say, mmm mmm!”
