When she was just 16 months old, Addison Weast was run to the hospital due to severe injuries. Her sitter, Cody Geddings 24 years of age, reported that she had fallen from her bed and got the bruises. But when hospital staff checked her, they instantly recognized the injuries to be caused by extreme abuse and violence. So they called the police. But little Addison couldn’t be saved.
Cody Geddings was convicted and charged of killing Addison. Investigations shed to light that Geddings had an awfully violent history and he was charged with 2nd degree murder resulting in a prison term.
Geddings was Addison’s step-father at the time, but he and her mother have since got a divorce.
