Paul Anka was born on July 30, 1941 in Canada. Unlike most pop idols of the 50s, he was not only a great performer, but he wrote catchy songs. Anka began to speak on the stage with ten years. In 1956, he tried his luck in Hollywood, but did not like it, although he managed to record a song that once even sounded on local radio.
Then he sang in the night bar, and in 1957 won first place in the competition of young singers – the prize was a trip to New York and record any song, at the request of the winner. Anka sang her song “Diana” and she became the No. 1 hit. Since 1962, he goes on the international stage, it is recorded in France, Italy, Great Britain.
