22 Yrs Ago, Michael Flatley’s Final Riverdance Performance Brought Millions To Tears


Riverdance is one of the most famous shows in the world. It has been revered for its traditional Irish music and dance ever since it first debuted as a live stage show. The theatrical show originated as an interval performance act during the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994. It was later expanded into a stage show, which opened in Dublin on the February of 1995. The show has visited over 450 venues worldwide and has been seen by over 25 million people.

Riverdance is one of the most successful dance productions in the world. Part of its popularity is thanks to its amazing cast members. Michael Flatley used to be one of the dancers in the show. Flately began dancing lessons at the age of 11.
