The famous Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli was born in September 1958 in the small village of Lajatico, which is located in Tuscany. The boy’s family had nothing to do with music. Parents were engaged in the economy, they held a farm with vineyards. 1992 was a turning point in the biography of Andrea Bocelli: his recording of the song “Miserere” falls to the great tenor Luciano Pavarotti, who was amazed at the skill of singing non-professional.
From this time begins the ascent of Andrea Bocelli on the Olympus of fame. A year later he received the first prize at the festival in Sanremo in the category “discovery of the year”.
