In 2016 the Melisizwe brothers shot to stardom when one of their videos went viral online. As a result people began sharing it with Ellen DeGeneres who then contacted the three boys to join her on the show. The boys made an appearance and quickly skyrocketed to fame after performing the popular Jackson 5 song “I’ll be there”. Since then, their names have only grown for the Canadian natives.
The group is comprised of a trio. The youngest and lead vocalist is named Zacary who is often times compared to Michael Jackson for his vocals and distinct voice in a group consisting of his brothers. The next brother is Seth who is the ‘glue’ of the group and really has an eye and ear for music. His main instrument is the piano but he also excels in his musical abilities. The oldest of the group is 15-year-old Marc who typically plays the guitar and provides vocals as well. He is the rock that sets the example for his younger siblings.
Recently the boys were asked to join Little Big Shots UK where the boys wowed the crowd with their soulful performance to Stevie Wonder classics. Their performance starts off slow, singing the classic song “For Once In My Life” by Stevie Wonder but halfway through the music changes and the youngest member Zacary breaks out into a spin. The crowd erupts into applause recognizing the hit song instantly as “Superstition” starts to play. There’s no denying the aura in the room is suddenly more vibrant and fun as the crowd lets loose. These boys are definitely talented and we can’t wait to see what more the future holds for them because there’s no denying
