When you retire you have much more free time on your hands and need to find ways to fill the days. Some people might start new hobbies, spend more time with family or go travelling, but for Fran and Marlo Cowan they spent time perfecting their double act.
The couple, who had been married for 62 years, surprised passers by when they took to the grand piano in the atrium of the Mayo Clinic and entertained everyone with their sweet and comedic performance of ‘Old Grey Bonnet’.
Stood side by side, the pair play the piano perfectly in synch with each other, even pulling off a swift swapping of places on the piano… until Fran accidentally takes a tumble. But luckily she catches herself on the piano stool and hops straight back up, joining back in without affecting the song.
The people around clearly loved their impromptu playing and they brought joy to an atrium of people who probably needed something to brighten up their day. What a wonderful video!
