Over the weekend, the music industry was saddened by the death of AC/DC founding member and guitarist Malcolm Young. During Chris Stapleton‘s Nov. 18th tour stop, he paid tribute to Young by putting his own spin one of the rock band’s most beloved songs.
Stapleton brought out opening act and good friend Brent Cobb to join him for a rendition of “You Shook Me All Night Long.”
But this was no simple cover. The duo made the song nearly unrecognizable, trading out the heavy percussion and guitar riffs for a more swampy and groove-driven take.
