Keith Urban Covers Famous 70s Band

Keith Urban stepped on stage for a tribute that sparked the whole audience’s attention. Singing for the “Stayin’ Alive: A Grammy Salute to the Music of the Bee Gees” his heart was in it to honor the Bee Gees in a special way, so he brought out his guitar and sang the perfect song. Though it may have been a great song choice, this wasn’t just any performance, nor was it any typical audience – because out there listening was Barry Gibb himself. Keith Urban, knowing this, held nothing back.

Just moments into the performance there was a captured view of Barry Gibb. On this night, it’s no doubt he wore his heart on his sleeve. It’s clear that Barry is overcome with emotion hearing his band’s old tune.

His tune wrapped up in a stunning performance brought obvious delight, even to the co-founder of the Bee Gees. When Keith Urban gave it all he had, his efforts turned golden. Not only was the audience thrilled, Barry Gibb was pleased. His face says it all.

Several artists took part in this wonderful night of honoring the Bee Gees, but watch how Keith Urban’s sparkling performance brought so much joy to everyone. When you listen to his passionate voice singing those famous lyrics, you can’t help but think back to the Bee Gees own version and be proud of the way Keith Urban really brought it that night.
