The hymn, “Nearer, My God, To Thee”, was written way back in the 1800s. But this classic reportedly rose to fame when it was sung as the Titanic sank in 1912. Despite that sad history, it has never been a gloomy song. This hymn is not only full of faith, but it is really inspirational as well. Many years have passed since it was first written, but it still has the power to leave millions of people all over the world in awe!
The video given below features an unbelievable version of this very hymn. This rendition was done by the BYU Vocal Point Men’s Chorus team and it has blown away many people.
The members have beautiful voices which mix really well with one another. This cover is also their bestselling song on iTunes. This a cappella performance will drop your jaw for sure!
