Nathan Leach started a humble YouTube channel two years ago, filming himself singing “Blackbird” by The Beatles in his bedroom. Not looking to become an internet sensation, little information about him can be found outside of this channel. His personal statement is simple: “I enjoy listening to and playing music. It’s fun.”
Since then, he has posted videos of other covers and a few original songs, but it’s always a treat when he is joined by his family. In this video, he is accompanied by his sister Eva. Their voices blend beautifully, and although they start rather shy and reserved, you can see how their tensions release as they sink themselves into the music they create together.
The song they are singing in the video is “Hero” by Family Of The Year. Originally released in 2012, the song gained a resurgence in popularity when it was prominently featured in the film Boyhood.
SF Globe found the talent and charm of this sibling duo captivating. Let us know what you thought of them in our comments section.
Watching this video, one wants to join in singing. It’s not every day you can hear such a performance! I’d like to put on my headphones not to skip a bit of it! Incredible talent!
Mother-nature did a good job and provided the person with such voice! Deepest gratitude for this wonderful song!
This video is definitely worth watching and then watching it over and over. It will take just a few minutes and you won’t regret the time spent on it.
