They Begin Singing An Elvis Classic

366

We’ve heard hundreds of renditions of the classic Elvis Presley song “Can’t Help Falling In Love,” but none are as hauntingly beautiful as 7th Ave’s cover! The quartet croons the tune perfectly in an empty warehouse and the result is a pure masterpiece!

They don’t need special effects and fancy pyrotechnics to keep us engaged. Their voices do the trick themselves!

The group is led by Chris Rupp, a veteran singer who formed Home Free almost two decades ago. That vocal group won season four in 2013 of The Sing-Off. He’s also been blessed to collaborate with artists like Kenny Rogers, The Oak Ridge Boys, Charlie Daniels, Jewel and Nick Lachey.

Chris formed the musical group Home Free, then in 2016 brought together beautiful singers to create 7th Ave. There’s nothing that Chris can’t sing like a champion – and his lead on “Can’t Help Falling In Love” is a prime example.

Chris is joined in 7th Ave by Kelley Jakle, Tristin Rupp and Adam Bastien. A Minnesota native, Chris’ mom also is a professional musician and his sister Tristin is now part of the group.

Tristin has a long list of accolades ranging from professional dancing, singing, acting and modeling. She also teaches dance fitness classes in Southern California and co-operates an online dance fitness channel.

Kelley is no stranger to the stage, either. As a member of the University of Southern California’s SoCal VoCals, they won the International Competition of Collegiate A Cappella twice, which helped her land a role as Jessica on the hit movie Pitch Perfect and Pitch perfect 2.

Adam has been blessed to travel the world as a singer on cruise ships for years. He also has offered his beautiful voice to several a cappella groups including The Alleycats, Blue Jupiter and part of Chris’ previous group, Home Free.

So when this foursome merges their incredible voices, the sound that pours forth is amazing. This is an a cappella group that definitely will go far.

While their style is unique and their sound is spectacular, their vocal range and harmony is unmistakable. Their talent truly is a blessing.

This on-point Elvis cover will give you goosebumps and leave you begging for more music from 7th Ave. Luckily, there are tons of fun videos like the one here for you to peruse.

So grab your headphones and get to jammin’! You’ll be thoroughly impressed by this a cappella cover!
